This isolation test has been performed in a shielding room, which used a horn antenna to receive the signal level.
The isolation test method includes two procedures as following:
Before perform the isolation test, a 5.8GHz or 2.4GHz transmitter with a dipole antenna is used to calibrate the test site. This transmitter is placed on a table which is 1.5 meter above ground, at a distance of 3.0 meter from a horn antenna. The spectrum Analyzer is set RBW to 10kHz and VBW to 30kHz; the observed signal level value shall be recorded as “A” (in dBm).
Place the transmitter into the shielding box, then close the shielding box and place the box in the same height and distance as above. The spectrum Analyzer is also set RBW to 10kHz and VBW to 30kHz, and the shielding box can rotate 360 degrees, and record the signal level value every 45 degree, the observed signal level value shall be recorded as “B” (in dBm), so there are 8 values of test result.
